Shower profiles: Home and Business
Your Orbital Shower can run in one of two profiles: Home or Business. The profile is set in the My Water by Orbital Systems app (Shower settings → Control Dial, Shower profile) and determines how the Control Dial interface looks and behaves, which features are available directly on the shower, and where maintenance notifications appear.
Home: gives full access to all shower features directly on the Control Dial and shows maintenance notifications on the Control Dial screen. Recommended for private homes and other settings where the same people use the shower regularly.
Business: the default profile. Recommended for hotels, dressing rooms, spas and similar environments where the shower is used by first-time users mainly. The Control Dial interface is simplified for ease of use, some settings and all maintenance notifications appear only in My Water, not on the Control Dial.
The two profiles share the same core operation — the differences are limited to parts of the interface and to where certain settings and notifications are shown. This manual covers both profiles. Wherever the shower or the interface behaves differently depending on the profile, it is clearly marked: Home: describes the behavior in the Home profile. Business: describes the behavior in the Business profile. Text without such a marker applies to both profiles. If you are unsure which profile your shower uses, check Shower settings in My Water.
