Safety Instructions
Read and follow these instructions carefully before installing, using, servicing or otherwise handling the Orbital Tap system.
The Orbital Tap system can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the Orbital Tap system.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be conducted by children.
Do not operate the Orbital Tap system if water leaks from the appliance.
Do not operate the Orbital Tap system if it is frozen or suspected of being frozen.
Unauthorized modification of internal components and wiring is prohibited.
Do not operate the Orbital Tap system if it is damaged. Contact Orbital Systems using the details in the Service Section in the manuals.
Do not use attachments or parts not recommended by Orbital Systems.
Do not use the Orbital Tap system to clean extreme soiling or pour corrosive chemicals or cleaners down the drain. Any other use of the system than normal cleaning could damage the system.
These instructions are provided to advise the best practice for the installation.
Ensure the installation environment meets all the specified installation requirements. For more details see Chapters Technical specification and Installation Requirements in the Installation Manual for your chosen model.
All electrical installations must conform to industry rules and be performed by a licensed electrician.
All plumbing installations must conform to industry rules.
When used in a fixed wiring plant: The appliance shall be supplied with a switch that provide a full disconnection under overvoltage category III incorporated in the fixed wiring plant.
When used with external Power Supply: Only detachable class III safety extra low voltage power supply units, provided by Orbital Systems, must be used.
The appliance must be disconnected from its power source during service and when replacing parts.
